Dark Tranquillity – Fiction (2007)

Woke up to rain and thunder this morning and felt like hearing some Dark Tranquillity so I grabbed my Fiction CD and started my day.

Fiction is the eighth studio album by the Swedish melodic death metal band, Dark Tranquillity. and it was released on April 17, 2007.

Some bands strive for years to find their sound, Dark Tranquillity have that under their grasp and prove it time and time again with each melodic death metal album they release.

Dark Tranquillity – Character (2005)

“Dark Tranquillity is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Gothenburg. They are one of the longest-standing bands from the original Gothenburg metal scene, and are one of the most integral pioneers of the melodic death metal genre of music. Since its formation they did not change their original sound and still have kept their music as an original Gothenburg metal scene, however their first album Skydancer leans towards a more death metal sound than melodic death metal.” – from wikipedia
