Well aren’t you in for a special treat this morning? How about melodic progressive death metal with elements of minstrels and folk?
Eventide – Diaries From The Gallows is a very pleasant treat for death metal fans looking for slightly more than straight guttural vocals non stop. The dirty vocals remind me of Dark Tranquility however, where that comparison ceases is during the weaving of clean vocals amongst the melody of the song. This is good stuff, not to be passed up quickly, give it a listen. Before this full-length, the band put out only demos.
