Review:
Without getting into details regarding the history or make-up of
this metal band - this is a great album and a must for all metal fans
and people who like Helloween.
From the moment it starts, the tales and fantasy begins. The album
opens with a great melodic song illustrating the power and attraction
of great metal backed by creative and talented minds. The King
For 1000 Years opens this eery album with haunting guitars and
pounding double-bass drums and roaring riffs mixed with a perfect
mixture of electronc noices and chimes to give this piece atmosphere
that defines this genre clocking in at 13 minutes in length, what
an album opener.
From the second track on you are pounded with track after track of
Helloween that will keep old school fans pleased and new fans begging
for more. This album clearly highlights the differences between genegric
metal and epic power metal with fantasy and tales woven in endless
talent and musicianship.
In this day and age of corporate metalcore and emo metal, releases
by the greats such as this should not only be cherished but appreciated
by the dedication that has gone into making decades of this music.
